Some bonds are so deep, that they shape the very course of your life. Mine began two decades ago, with a little dog named Daisy.

Back then, we didn’t talk about “rescue dogs" the way people do today. Daisy wasn’t a rescue. She didn’t come with a tragic backstory or a headline.
